I'm not flexible or strong, can I do yoga?

Yes! You don't have to be fluent in Italian to take an Italian language class! It's the same, your strength & flexibility will increase with a regular yoga practice.

 

I have an I injury/condition can I still practice?

If your doctor says you can do exercise you should be ok. The practice can be modified as necessary, but be sure to let me know in advance!

 

I can't touch my toes!

Bend your knees! Now you can.

 

Can I practice if I'm pregnant?

No. Ashtanga isn't appropriate if pregnant unless you've had many years of regular practice. Try a specialist pregnancy class instead! I know some very good ones!

 

What should I wear?

Anything comfortable that you would normally wear to exercise that will allow you to move freely. Gym or running clothes are ideal (be prepared to sweat!).
